So Far, So Good
Five years ago on this date, Ed and I got married. At the reception, the room was full of would-be funny people (surprise) who kept asking “So, how’s married life?” The best answer I could come up with at the time was “One big party, so far.” After the party ended, I spent about three months just reveling in not having to plan a wedding any longer. Five years down an occasionally-bumpy road, married life is great. And I’m still reveling in not having to plan a wedding any longer.
Hope your Halloween is as good as mine.

I hear you on the wedding planning thing. It wasn’t until about five months after our wedding that I felt life had fully recovered and was back to normal. Throw in the seven months of planning and I had a full year of not-enough-head-space-to-go-around.

Congrats! I’m just entering into the having to plan a wedding thing, and already looking forward to it being done.
Realized in the chaos that I’ve been out of touch, so figured I’d see how you’ve been doing - looks like life has been keeping you busy, but hopefully things will calm down soon.
