Schaudenfreude Manqu

Two people who have a tendency to annoy me spent a day annoying each other instead. It would’ve been great, except that I kept hearing from one of them how annoying the other was.

Future conversation for us to have:
are you easily annoyed? do you sometimes think that a certain enjoyment is derived from being annoyed because you get to tell stories about it?

  2. amy Says:

oh, that sounded accusatory. Well probably not to you. You don’t seem oversensitive. I meant that I get annoyed and somehow simultaneously amused with people. Well, that might be the end of the conversation. As Linda Richards would say, “Discuss amongst yourselves.”

I think that the answer to question 1 is “it depends on how full my stress buffer is at the time,” and the answer to question 2 is “under the right circumstances, yes, but it’s delayed gratification.”

Delayed gratification comes later than immediate gratification

    *nods authoritatively*
