Lunchtime Poll #30: Whaddaya Got?
This week’s Lunchtime Poll is ridiculously easy.
What’s the last board, card, or roleplaying game you bought, and what do you think of it?
The last game I bought was the Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG, but as I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, I don’t have much of an opinion. Ed brought home a wildly politically incorrect, anime-satire card game, SPANC, which we also haven’t had a chance to try yet, but will later this week (I hope!) The last game I bought that I’ve actually have played was Ninja Burger, and I liked it so much that I bought the t-shirt. It’s very much in line with my “if it’s weird, sick, or twisted, I’m there” gaming preferences.

Last game I bought was an oldy, but a goody. I gave one of my girls a classic Monopoly game. It’s been a lot of fun playing it over the years with them. My oldest daughter beats me EVERY time! Thing is after all this time, I still haven’t quite figured out what’s so much better about her strategy than mine…but whatever it is, it’s working for her consistently.

Last game purchased was a cheap Mayfair rail game.
Incidently, Buffy plays pretty well. An old friend of mine ran it at GenCon, and I thought the system did well to recreate the flavor of the show.
