Burden of Proof
After hearing some of Rachel’s stories from the public defender’s office, even fewer things surprise me in previous years. The only thing in this article that caught my attention was that the individual in question was charged with “vicarious sexual gratification.”
I want to know how you prove that charge in court.

By getting the mother to testify as to what he said would get off on. If he put it in any of the e-mails, his goose is probably well done. Thing is, the charge was probably added in to give the prosecutor something to drop for a plea agreement.

What jumps out at me in this article is that they felt the need to publish the offender’s political affiliation. Does the Indianapolis Star do that for everyone, or just for Democrats In Trouble?
