Wednesday, November 1st, 2006Statistically speaking, any time an earthquake hits a population center, the odds are good that someone is having sex at the time. The fact that I know who it was is completely coincidental. Actually, everyone in the dorm knew; it’s not like they were being quiet, y’know?
Anyway, when I asked Jay later what took them so long to evacuate, he said they hadn’t noticed the earthquake. How could you possibly fail to notice a 7.2 quake? I had to know.
He grinned. “I thought it was the mattress sliding off the box springs…again.”
Jay’s been very popular since then.
