Ravings of a Textual Deviant

For once, you can take your minds out of the gutter. I wouldn’t want to get too predictable, y’know.

Fiancé was in the mood for a simple project last weekend, so he refinished our breakfast-room table, (AKA, the $4 Table, for reasons that I shall spare the Reading Public—trust me, you do NOT want to know). The old paint job was definitely shabby and not at all chic, and there were scratches, gouges, and loose bits, so pretty much any change would be for the better.

Turns out that my pathetic little table is actually solid oak, and while it still has some definite signs of wear, the repairs and fresh stain have worked wonders on it. I haven’t got any before pictures, but I’ll try to get an after up later today.
